Little Outdoor Giants’ mission is to create unique, curated, and authentic lifestyle imagery and motion that is hinged on a desire to live an aesthetic life and tell beautifully stylized stories. We work with both traditional talent as well as shooting with real people and influencers in real situations. We would love to help tell the story of winter time fun in Maine and the amazing experiences visitors can have there. We have the experience and the creativity to help tell these stories, from directing motion and short doc-style profiles to providing a library of stills & motion Hero & B-roll imagery, and the production experience to make it all happen smoothly, on budget, all while having a blast for everyone involved.
Thank you for considering us for Visit Maine’s Winter Escapes and Brand Shoot. We hope you enjoy this work and look forward to making magic together.

About LOG
How We Do:
Dom & Jarrod both came to LOG as independent shooters. This means we both shoot stills, we both shoot motion, we both direct and on some productions, we do this all at the same time. We pride ourselves on being able to double down on the same skillset, providing more content in less time for our clients than a typical production.
We know what our clients need these days, EVERYTHING. While one of us is directing and shooting a Hero Image that the art director was looking for, the other is off to the side getting a completely candid lifestyle moment of the same scene, or if there’s multiple talent, one of us will breakaway from the main shot and create a simple environmental portrait in stills and in motion of key talent. We’re flexible and fluid on set, capturing tons of content for our clients library needs, all with the eye of a trained and passionate photographer, X’s 2.
Things we love:
Lifestyle moments, made authentically
Big, beautiful, natural looking light (even when the weather don’t call for it)
Lots of imagery, 10,000+ still shots / day typically for library shoots
Being creative with some art direction (works well with teams)
Happy clients
“Winter Active” for LLBean
Little Outdoor Giants have exclusively shot LLBean’s “Winter Active Campaign” for the past 4 years. We’ve been lucky enough to see this work online, in store, in catalog, and on the cover of LLBean’s coveted holidays and winter catalogs, as well as in OOH print campaigns and billboard size in-store signage.
LOG Motion work with Real Talent
LOG has worked extensively with “real talent”, from small business owners, athletes, to folks just doing their thing. Check out some of these motion pieces shot and directed by LOG.

Friends of LOG & Brand Story Subject Ideas
Polly & Kevin | Maine Dog Sledding Guides
Mahoosuc Guides offers trips in the Mahoosuc region of Maine. We’ve gone out with Polly & Kevin on an adventurous and amazing overnight dog-sled trip, sleeping in a canvas wall tent on a bed of pine boughs. Kevin was the lead guide on the Thoreau 150 journey that we we’re on and that BVK featured for Visit Maine years ago.
Snowmobiling the North Country
Our good friend Matt Polstein owns and operates NEOC, New England Outdoor Center in Millinocket. He’s hosted us on numerous productions and offers fully guided snow mobile excursions in one of the most stunning natural areas of Maine with views of Katahdin.
“Right from the initial call, it was clear that Dom and Jarrod had invested themselves in our project—digging into the details and potential. Their enthusiastic energy never let up. Navigating the specifics and twists-and-turns of our shoot was always positive, constructive, a great buzz.
In the ad biz, it’s an honor to collaborate with truly talented people—that’s when the magic happens. That collaborative spirit is inherent in Dom and Jarrod as a team. These days, as we tend to work through all sorts of technology, a terrific personal collaboration means more than ever. LOG on.”
Thanks for taking a look!
