Little Outdoor Giants’ mission is to create unique, curated, and curious lifestyle imagery that is hinged on authenticity and a desire to live an aesthetic life and tell beautifully stylized stories. We bring fun and playfulness to everything that we are involved in. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring that lifestyle philosophy and experience to the new Groundswell Cafe + Bakery as well as Groundswell Home + Garden. We can’t wait to create with you.

Proposal + Estimates
How we work together as a duo is unique and it has several iterations based on the needs of each production. We are both trained photographers and creative directors with interchangeable skills, providing the very best experience and value while on set together. We believe in creating authentic moments with big and beautiful light.
We approach each project keeping production in mind and are always asking ourselves how we can most easily achieve the needs of our client while maintaining the highest level of creativity. We are hoping to create for Groundswell a library of images that showcases the unique aesthetic experience available to those who wander in and have their own moments of discovery at Groundswell; the sights, the smells, the sounds, the feeling of this special curated place; scents of baking breads, fresh roasted coffee, clean and lush greenery, the warmth of a sun-filled greenhouse, the textures of one-of-a-kind antiques and items from around the world, all beautifully and thoughtfully displayed within the Groundswell space. We understand the world you’re creating with Groundswell, and we want to capture it for others to be enticed to experience it for themselves too.
Our proposal incorporates three distinct parts that we believe Groundswell could benefit from.
Part 1
Curated Lifestyle Groundswell Image Library
This would be Little Outdoor Giants planning a two day photoshoot at Groundswell. The goal would be for one day to use styled talent to create unique and beautiful stories of folks discovering Groundswell; idealized lifestyle stories and images of folks having a great experience at Groundswell. A family having a lazy sunday afternoon, enjoying breakfast together and enjoying the gardens across the street. A young traveling wanderer discovering Groundswell for themselves, delighting in the afternoon, the atmosphere, and documenting it with camera and sketchpad for their travel blog. A simple meeting between busy old friends, able to finally catch up and share a moment together at the cafe. In addition to the lifestyle stories, we’d also plan to shoot a second day of a more traditional library of images for Groundswell, details of the behind the scenes, the baking, the roasting, the final products, both food and goods, within the environment and the space itself, along with candids and portraits of those folks who make it happen, the bakers, barista’s, and shopkeepers.
Part 2
Editorial Coverage of Opening Weekend
This would be capturing semi-posed and candid but real and authentic moments of the opening weekend. Little Outdoor Giants would be on hand to document the atmosphere and interaction of those discovering Groundswell for the first time. This would be shot similar to an editorial for a magazine, with plenty of candid raw moments, and some directing and posed shots as well, including details and product as well as real people and reactions.
Part 3
Ongoing Studio Photography
Little Outdoor Giants has a full service commercial studio right on Water street in downtown Warren Rhode Island. As discussed, we’d be happy to provide your more traditional e-commerce photography. From clean white studio set-ups to a more stylized and lush studio setting with alternate and rich textures and setups, we’re ready to shoot any and all Groundswell products and packaging on an as-needed basis. This is provided as a separate estimate.

Sharing coffee, sharing an experience. We know Groundswell is more than just a cafe. It is a place to share moments.
We also plan on capturing imagery showcasing the final products that Groundswell Cafe + Bakery, as well as Groundswell Home + Garden, have on offer. Detailed product shots within the space and aesthetic of Groundswell Cafe, helping the product shots to feel seamless throughout the brand, the imagery, and the entire aesthetic.
Lifestyle Moments
We see so many stories to tell about an experience at Groundswell. Friends getting together for a much cherished meetup, a young family having a beautiful Sunday morning together, a wanderer who discovers this place by accident and remembers it for decades.
Studio Photography
We have a full-service photo studio in Warren Rhode Island. We can shoot studio based work for e-commerce and catalogue needs. Everything from clean and crisp white studio photos to moodier and edgy product shots can be accomplished in studio on a monthly or semi-monthly basis.
Using hired talent and styled wardrobe, we will use Groundswell as the perfect background to create timeless and beautiful lifestyle imagery.
The people behind the vision. We would love to capture portraits and candids of the folks that make Groundswell what it is. Portraits of the barista’s, the bakers, and the shopkeepers, all within the spaces where they create their magic.
Behind the Scenes Magic
We plan on shooting the behind the scenes magic that helps make a Groundswell experience what it is. The people, the textures, and the story of what goes into creating the delicious and wonderful treats Groundswell Cafe will be known for.
Food and Product on location
We would include in our library of imagery food and product photos created on site at Groundswell, within the environment, showcasing the textures and aesthetics and mood of the experience of Groundswell.
Additional LOG Imagery
Our goal is to show hints of story, of location, of narrative, using talent, styling and propping, Groundswells’ locations and textures, and creating believable and beautiful moments that capture the experience of Groundswell Cafe + Bakery and Groundswell Home + Garden.
