Thoreau's 1857 Loop
In case we haven't already spun you the story already, one of our greatest adventures was a 16-day paddling trip. We hooked up with Yankee Magazine to shoot this group of folks re-tracing Thoreau's 1857 trip that he wrote about in his book "The Maine Woods". We had no idea what was in store. It was glorious and grueling, painful and beautiful all at the same time.
